On January 2, 2008, Coco unexpectedly broke her left rear leg while playing in the gallery. Although her
fracture was repaired, it was discovered that she was afflicted with bone cancer - not uncommon in Greyhounds. Her prognosis
was poor and the possibility of additional fractures was likely. On Wednesday, January 8th. she was gently euthanized
with the compassionate assistance of our vet.
Coco was a beloved friend and companion - her death leaves a large, empty hole in our lives. She is
loved and will be sorely missed.
